PAAMOA PRIVACY NOTICE
This notice is intended to inform how and why PAAMOA uses personal information from members.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who become members. This Notice applies to all information provided by you whether through Health Screening Form or in any other way.
Who we are:
PAAMOA is a non profit making Charity registered with the Charities Commission with number 228. We organise and run exercise classes for Gibraltarian residents from 55 years of age and our objective is to enable members to enjoy a healthy, active way of life. We also organise Social events by way of Day Outings and Christmas Dinner Dance.
What Information do we collect?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you fill in the Health Screening Form when you register for classes. This information may include your contact details including home address, email and phone numbers as well as Medical details.
We only use your personal data if we are satisfied that it is lawful and fair to do so because:
– You have given your consent.
– It is necessary so that you receive tuition that is safe for you when exercising.
How do we use your information?
To the extent that is permissable by Law, we may use your data to:
– Provide information and service that you have opted to receive through the classes we provide.
– Provide you with information about our Programme of Activities.
– Cooperate with Law enforcement agencies in any investigation to detect, prevent, investigate or remediate crime, illegal or prohibited activities or to otherwise protect our legal rights.
Sharing your Information
We will never give your personal data or share it with third parties who might use it for their own purposes other than:
– Where you have given your consent to share it with your instructors.
– In order to enforce any terms and conditions of agreement between us.
Where do we store personal information?
All information that you provide to us is securely stored on secure pass word servers and is destroyed yearly.
What Rights do you have under Data Protection Legislation?
You have the Right to request the information we hold about you. We want to make sure that your information is up to date and accurate. You may ask us to correct information that you think is inaccurate or to remove information from our files and system.
If you have given us consent to process personal information (for example to receive news updates) you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us using the contact details at the end of this Notice.
Once we have received notification from you we will dispose of your data securely.
Social Media
If you contact us through PAAMOA Admin in Facebook we may share this to respond to a specific query or to pass information. We will not share any private message with other organisations or bodies without your consent.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
We will keep our Privacy Notice under regular review. However, we will not reduce our Rights under this version of the Privacy Notice. We will conduct regular information audits and record findings of these and the actions required to ensure we comply with the GDPR and Gibraltar Data Protection Act of 2004. Each Committee Member and Trustee has a responsibility to regularly review information yearly and be accountable for the information they hold.
