The form can be found here:  Membership Form

How much do I need to pay to become a member?

Membership and classes are free if you are over 60. However, if you are between 55 and 60yrs you need to pay £30pa for each different type of class that you attend.

How can I take part in one of your classes?

Once you have become a member you can take part in one or more of our classes. However, you can only choose one class of each different type eg you can take part in one Aqua Aerobics and one Aqua Zumba but not two Aqua Aerobics classes. Once you know which class(es) you want to join you need to inform us by email You cannot just turn up at a class, you need to register through us first.  If the class you have chosen is already full, you will be placed on a waiting list and informed if a space becomes available.

You can find our timetable of classes here: Classes Timetable 2023-24

Once I have been accepted into a class what do I need to do?

We will send your name and contact details to the instructor so that they are aware that you will be joining their class, and we will inform you as from when you may commence attending the class. You must complete a health screening form and hand it in to the instructor when you attend your first class. You need to complete a separate form for each different type of class you attend.

The health screening form can be found here: Health Screening Form

Who do I need to inform if I cannot attend a class?

You need to inform the class instructor and let them know why you are unable to attend.

Are there rules regarding attendance?

Due to the high demand for these classes, it is only fair that if your name is on a class list it is because you are attending classes regularly. Instructors keep an attendance register so they will be aware of each person’s attendance.

To give an equal opportunity to all members wanting to join a class, we apply strict rules wherever there is a waiting list:

  • After two unexplained absences your name may be struck off the class list.
  • If, at the end of the term you have attended less than half of the classes in total, your name may be struck off the class list.
  • If you know that you will be absent, for five or more consecutive weeks (for whatever reason), you should discuss this with your instructor. You may be asked to give up your space to the next person on the waiting list and you will be placed at the top of that waiting list and will be given priority once a new space becomes available.
  • It is vital that when you attend a class you are feeling well enough to participate in the exercises, as all classes are attended at your own risk.
